Moving to business email on your own domain (you@yourcompany.com.np) is one of the cheapest credibility upgrades a Nepali business can make. Google Workspace: best if your team already uses Google
Workspace is Gmail with your domain, plus Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Meet under one admin console. Its strength is real-time collaboration in the browser, and most staff need no training. Microsoft 365: best for Office files and storage
If your accountants live in Excel or your clients send Word documents with tracked changes, Microsoft 365 avoids formatting surprises. Zoho Mail: best value for email-first teams
Zoho Mail is ad-free business email with calendar, contacts and collaboration features, at a lower price per mailbox than either rival. It suits shops, clinics, schools and offices where most staff need reliable email rather than a full office suite. What matters more than the logo
- DNS set up correctly. MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records decide whether your mail lands in the inbox or spam. Ask your provider to configure and test them.
- Migration of old mail. Moving years of messages from cPanel email or personal accounts takes planning. Agree who does it and when.
- Local billing. Paying in NPR with eSewa, Khalti, ConnectIPS or bank transfer avoids the international card problem many Nepali businesses hit when buying direct.
- Someone to call. When a mailbox stops syncing on a Monday morning, local support in your timezone is worth more than a feature list.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use business email with a .com.np domain?
Yes. All three suites work with any domain you control, including .com.np. Follow our .com.np registration guide, then add the MX records the suite provides.
Can I mix suites in one company?
Technically yes, with split delivery, but it complicates administration. Most small teams are better off choosing one suite and assigning cheaper plans to light users.
Is cPanel email enough?
The email included with web hosting works well for a few low-volume mailboxes. Once email is business-critical, a dedicated suite gives you better spam filtering, larger mailboxes and independent uptime from your website.
